When Rolex introduced their biggest Rolex Datejust in 2008, it measured 41mm. A couple of years later, that Rolex Datejust II was replaced by the Datejust 41.
The Datejust 41 is a very popular model today and is available in numerous materials and different colorways on the dial. One of these special versions of the Datejust 41 is the Wimbledon.
The Rolex Datejust Wimbledon is a celebration between Rolex and the heart of tennis: Wimbledon. A lot of people have won this tournament and ever since 1978 Rolex is a proud partner of the tennis-game. They’ve come up with the Rolex Datejust Wimbledon, available in both 36 and 41mm. The 41mm is the perfect watch for the bigger wrist, being produced in Rolesor two-tone stainless-steel and yellow gold or stainless-steel with a white gold fluted bezel.
These watches tend to sell for around €14.500 on Wristler for a well-maintained piece. The cheapest Rolex Datejust 41 Wimbledon is the Oyster-bracelet with the smooth, polished bezel costing around €12.000. The two-tone with yellow gold on a Jubilee is the most expensive at €15.000 or up.
