The classic Rolex Lady-Datejust
With the release of the original Rolex Datejust back in 1945, it was the first ever wristwatch to display today’s date on the dial. As the years went by, Rolex developed their Datejust in multiple ways, including offering a Lady-special watch: the Rolex Lady-Datejust. Starting the Lady-Datejust at measuring 26mm, it was the perfect elegant accessory for ladies to wear, combined with other beautiful jewels.
The history of the Datejust
Back in 1945, Rolex released its first ever wristwatch to have a display specially for today’s date, with a Cyclops lens that allows you to view the date by a 2.5 factor. Since the beginning of the Datejust, Rolex released a couple of models, including the Datejust 31, Datejust 36 or even the bigger 41mm case size.

The Rolex Lady-Datejust started out with a 26mm case, which comes in yellow gold, stainless-steel with a yellow gold or rose gold (Everose) fluted bezel of even a platinum bezel. A couple of years later, Rolex decided to upgrade their Lady-Datejust from 26mm to 28mm.
A slightly bigger case size but still with the same elegance to be recognized a beautiful ladies watch. With different dials an options, the Lady-Datejust is the perfect watch for women. You could opt for a champagne dial filled with diamonds as numerals, but also a slate-grey dial with flower motif.
Prices of the Lady-Datejust
For a well-maintained watch from Rolex, you might have to pay around €5.000 on Wristler. You can choose for a two-tone Lady-Datejust 26mm or 28mm.
When you prefer the Oysterbracelet, the watch will be priced at around €6.500 on Wristler. A Datejust for ladies with a diamond dial or even a platinum bezel sell for €10.000 or more.
