The Red Sub is an important piece for vintage Rolex fans, seen as a key piece in a serious collection. However important these watches are viewed by collectors, we simply love them for that red line and cool-tool vibe that they exude. This example has a Mk4 dial, with crisp red-over-white text and a nice cream lume on the hour plots and hands. The fat font bezel insert has faded to a bluey dark grey that looks wonderful on this classic Sub. The case is strong with even lugs and the bezel insert has faded to a deep blue hue. This watch has a different look, that of course we love, thanks to the Jubilee bracelet reference 6215h with a clasp stamped ‘DT 3’ and 55 endlinks.
