The Must de Cartier Tank watch that we present here is equipped with the so called lemon Roman dial. The name refers to the beige/light orange color in combination with the Roman hour markers. This ensures that the dial contains all the characteristic features that a vintage Cartier Tank should have. This type of dials was made with a kind of lacquer layer, which gives a porcelain like appearance.
Characteristic is that the Must Cartier Tank watches are equipped with a silver case, gilded with gold. This model concerns the large size, also known as LM (Large Model), with dimensions of 23 x 30 mm. We often see that the gold plating on watches of this type tends to wear over time, with the corners in particular becoming lighter. However, the case of this Tank Must remains in good vintage condition, showing slight discolouration on the corners, which is not visually distracting. Please note that our photographs are taken in high resolution, which can make certain imperfections appear more pronounced in images than they do in real life.
This vintage Cartier Tank Must features the famous blue hands and the blue cabochon crown, just as it should be with a true Cartier Tank. The Cartier manual winding movement, caliber ETA 2512, has recently been fully serviced by our watchmaker. Additionally, the watch is equipped with a new black leather lizard strap. The watch comes with a one-year mechanical warranty on the movement.
