Cartier released the Ballon Bleu in different sizes, starting at 28mm, 33mm, 36mm and the bigger versions measuring 40mm, 42 and 44mm. These watches are made of high-end materials like stainless-steel, white gold, yellow gold, red gold, rose gold and platinum making it a high-end luxury watch for everyone’s wrist.
In 2007 Cartier released the first Ballon Bleu with a round case for both men and women. These watches feature a crown capped by a domed sapphire or spinel cabochon and usually feature Roman numerals on the dials. You can even get your hands on a diamond filled Ballon Bleu with 1.640 brilliant cut diamonds on the 18-karat gold case.
There are some complications available on the Ballon Bleu, such as a moon phase or a flying tourbillon.
The tourbillon is the masterpiece with a 39mm case and 18-karat white gold. This piece will set you back €119.000, while there are other Cartier Ballon Bleu watches which are more affordable.
Starting with the reference W69010Z4, the stainless-steel round case in 28mm with a quartz-powered movement this piece will cost you close to €4.500 on Wristler for a well-maintained version. The two-tone with yellow gold and a 36-mm case with an automatic caliber is a bit more expensive at €10.500.
