ROLEX Explorer 1 1956 Explorer der Refenz 6610. Beautiful early Rolex Explorer 6610 from 1956. This watch is now almost 70 years old, yet it has lost none of its beauty. The original gilt chapter ring dial is completely untouched, and the hands have been filled with new luminous material in a matching colour. But it still has the old gilt hand set with the large lollipop second hand, which gives the watch a fantastic look. The Rolex cal.1030 runs very well and has certainly been serviced recently, with an amplitude of 290 degrees and good accuracy. Unfortunately, we did not receive any documentation about the watch from the previous owner. Another highlight is the original riveted strap, which is in very good condition. It is a pull-through strap, all springs are working and none are broken. Finally, it is Swiss Made with a 1/57 date stamp. A wonderful watch with the rare OCC dial and original strap.
