Seiko King Seiko reference 44-2000, this example dates from 1967. This manual-winding mechanical timepiece features a refined white dial with baton indices, characteristic of Japanese elegance from the 1960s. The 36 mm gold-plated case exudes timeless discretion. The Seiko KS 44 movement, the mechanical heart of this watch, ensures the watchmaking reliability inherent to the brand. The 10 mm thick case sits perfectly on the wrist. The plexiglass crystal gives this piece its vintage authenticity. This example is equipped with a black leather strap with pin buckle, both replacement parts. The watch underwent an internal service in April 2023. Overall condition is good, with visible traces on the case, dial, bezel and crystal, typical of a watch that has lived through more than half a century. The watch is sold alone, without box or original papers. A King Seiko from the 1960s, bearer of Japanese watchmaking history, remains a rare acquisition for the vintage mechanics enthusiast and devotee of understated elegance.
