Japanese masterpieces

Seiko

With innovation, the Japanese watchmaker Seiko is always ahead of the competition. With numerous designs, materials and models available, you can spend your money on a brilliant piece of Japanese engineering when it comes to luxury watches. Seiko is one of the few watchmakers that produce all of their components on their own.

The history of Seiko

With more than 140 years of experience in the watch making industry Seiko is one of the largest Japanese manufacturers. Based in Tokyo, they only produce high-quality timepieces for affordable prices.

Seiko was the first to ever bring out a Quartz-powered movement, with a Magic Lever winding system, hybrid Kinetic and Spring Drive movements which combine the best of quartz and automatic movements. You can get your hands on a Seiko for every budget starting at €250 up to €10.000

A high quality Seiko watch

The Presage

With only mechanical movements featured on the Seiko Presage, you know that you will buy a high-quality timepiece. The in-house caliber features a 45 or 50-hour power reserve, most of them with a power reserve indicator and a GMT-function on their watches. Prices vary from €800 up to €2.200, depending on the materials. You can even find a special edition for around €4.000 on Wristler.

With special zaratsu polishing

The Grand Seiko

One of the high-end watches in the Seiko collection is the Grand Seiko. It features the best Seiko has to offer, with the best finishing of the timepieces in the Seiko collection. Their ‘zaratsu’ polishing is among the best in the world. You can get your hands on a Grand Seiko between €6.000 and €115.000.

Ever since 1881, Kintaro Hattori opened a small store in his early twenties. The first ever factory from Seiko followed 11 years later with the name ‘Seikosha’. The word ‘Seiko’ means precision in Japanese. Their goal was to manufacture all of their components featured in their watches but to sell them for affordable pricing. Even today, Seiko still produces watches with this in mind.
