Pre-Owned Tudor watches
When it comes to the heritage of the Tudor brand, it is well-connected to the Swiss manufacturer Rolex. Since these two brands share some elements like the Oyster-steel bracelet and case, the resemblance is strong. Tudor was released by the same owner from Rolex, making it a smart investment when it comes to pre-owned Tudor watches.
All about the pre-owned Tudor watches
There is plenty to choose from when it comes to pre-owned Tudor watches, the same goes for Rolex. These two companies were founded by the same owner, but nowadays Tudor and Rolex are two completely separate businesses. They still share some components like the Oystercase and bracelet made of stainless-steel, and the ceramic bezel also looks like the same from Rolex.
When it comes to different pre-owned models in the Tudor catalog, you can opt for the Black Bay, Submariner, Pelagos or Prince Oysterdate.
These models can be found on Wristler starting at around €1.200 and up. The cheapest pre-owned Tudor is the Prince Oysterdate, which has a strong resemblance to the well-known Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust. These two-tone watches from Tudor come with an 18-karat gold fluted bezel, the two-tone Jubilee-bracelet and a champagne or gold dial with Roman numerals. It also features the Cyclops-lens, which is used to view today’s date.
The Tudor Submariner is produced in different sizes, even in the perfectly balanced mid-size Submariner in 36mm. These watches share some components with the Rolex Submariner No Date, with the luminous material on the hour markers and the ‘Mercedes-hand’, which also can be found on the Rolex Explorer. The Tudor Submariner is a highly coveted watch amongst collectors and thus prices keep on rising, all the way up to €8.000 for a vintage piece to €20.000 or more for a New Old Stock (NOS) condition timepiece.
The Tudor Black Bay and Pelagos are a bit more modern compared to the Prince Oysterdate and Submariner, so these watches can’t be found in a vintage state. If you’re in the market for a pre-owned Tudor watch, the Pelagos and Black Bay can be found on Wristler starting at €2.000 for a pre-owned Tudor Black Bay and €3.200 for the pre-owned Tudor Pelagos.
