Franck Muller
What do you do when you want to redefine the luxury watch market? Just become one disruptive luxury brand. Swiss manufacturer Franck Muller is all about changing the way you look to your wristwatch. With large numerals on the dial, octagon shaped cases and high-tech materials the watches from Franck Muller are something else.
The history of Franck Muller
The company started out in 1983, where Muller always was looking for a way to disrupt the current market. The dream of developing watches that you’ve never seen before with their barrel-shaped cases and huge numerals on the dials, it already became clear that Franck Muller was there to stay. One thing that Muller also does is challenge their production when it comes to complications or features.
This has led to a string of world-premieres like the watch with a tourbillon visible from the front. Franck Muller even has the record of the world’s most complicated wristwatch, called the Aeternitas Mega with 36 in-house developed complications made of 1.483 components. This watch will cost you some money though: €3 million at least. When you’re lucky enough to get your hands on one.
Prices of the Franck Muller watches
If you’re in the market for extraordinary looking watches, you should consider buying a watch from Franck Muller. You can already call it your own for around €5.000 for a pre-owned women’s watch with a barrel-shaped case. If you’re planning to spend some more money, you can opt for the Long Island Master Calendar with a pointer date, moon phase and a rose gold case.
This piece will cost you close to €14.000. The most expensive Franck Muller watch that is available is the Cintrée Curvex Perpetual Calendar Chronograph 8880 CC QP B O 5N: with a perpetual calendar, moon phase and a 18-karat rose gold case this piece will cost you €120.000 or more.
