Known as the “Master of Complications”, Franck Muller is the greatest supporter and promoter of the Cintrée Curvex case shape. Thanks to their exceptionally beautiful dials and cases, Franck Muller watches are very popular among collectors, and among famous personalities some of the brand’s biggest admirers are Elton John, Demi Moore and Robin Williams.
Undoubtedly, the most recognisable and characteristic distinguishing feature of Franck Muller watches is their so-called “tonneau” case from the legendary “Casablanca” series.
The Casablanca line was created to pay tribute to a dynamic, modern and classic style. Conceived as part of the beautiful Cintrée Curvex line, “Casablanca” discreetly and authentically revives the elegance of the period between the two world wars in the first half of the 20th century. The oversized Arabic numerals, changing in size according to the position of each one on the dial – which can boldly be called a symbol of the brand – allow perfect visibility and make the series completely original, while its multicoloured dials artistically immortalise the marriage between form and colour.
Franck Muller Cintrée Curvex 18K Yellow Gold Diamond 2852 QZ D 1R is a worthy representative of the wonderful Cintrée Curvex line of luxury watches by Franck Muller and carries a dynamic, modern and at the same time classic style.
The model was introduced in 2015 and continues its existence successfully to this day. This watch is undoubtedly a representative of the exclusive group of top-class timepieces. It features an 18-carat yellow gold barrel-shaped case, measuring 30.5 mm in width without the crown, 37 mm in length and 10.5 mm in thickness. To enhance its noble presence, the case is adorned with 66 high-quality diamonds positioned along the bezel. The dial is in classic light tones and carries large luminous Arabic numerals and black hour and minute hands. The movement is quartz – ETA-based; unfortunately, we could not find information on the exact calibre, but it has been modified by Franck Muller. The crystal is scratch-resistant sapphire, and the strap is original, with a pin buckle. Water resistance is the usual for dress watches – 30 metres.
This is categorically a bright representative of dress watches for people who are looking for an elegant presence on the wrist.
