Cvstos was only established since 2005, making it a young brand in the luxury watch market. Founded by Sassoun Sirmakes and Antionio Terranova, the brand name derived from the Latin word for ‘guardian’. It reflects their commitment of protecting the fine art of horology while pushing boundaries of modern design and technologies. A perfect mix, right?
Different from other brands
The design really is something else compared to other watch brands in the market, making it possible for Cvstos to really stand out. Skeletonized dials, complex movements and precision is what it’s about at Cvstos. Characterized by their tonneau (barrel) shaped cases, they offer a modern but unique look.
Cvstos uses all kinds of materials on their watches, such as titanium, carbon, ceramics and sapphire. All of their watches look futuristic, which really stands out.
With a skeletonized dial, you can see the beauty of the caliber that runs inside the Cvstos cases. You do have to have some budget available if your opting for a Cvstos watch to be honest, since these watches don’t come cheap. Starting at around €6.500 for a pre-owned watch, up to €20.000 or more for a new piece.
