Armand Nicolet
Armand Nicolet, a Swiss watch brand founded back in 1902 by Armand Nicolet at his atelier in Tramelan, a small town in the mountains in Switzerland. He was known for is exceptional skills in horology, so he quickly gained a reputation for high-quality timepieces with some unique details.
With the passing of Armand Nicolet, the founder of the brand, it was run by his family. A couple of years later, the company underwent a renaissance so Rolando Braga, an Italian businessman and watch-enthusiast took over the brand in 1992. Restoring the brands identity and staying true to its roots, that was the mission he took on.
Different models from Armand Nicolet
There are some models available within the collection from Armand Nicolet. Starting with the Original Historical Movement, it’s a hallmark of his dedication to vintage movements. Watches in his collection feature restored historical movements from the brands’ archive, making it a unique combination between historical and modern.
If you’re more into complications, the M02 collection should be the one to go for, with a moon phase, chronographs, complete calendars but still maintaining the classic look.
If you’ve read all this, you’d probably expect prices to be sky high: you can already get your hands on a brand new Armand Nicolet for around €1.500, up to €4.500, depending on the desired watch, complications and year of production. These watches really are a pleasure to look at, especially with colored dials with guilloche.
