Omega is one of the world’s most iconic watch brands. Formerly known as La Generale Watch Co., it was founded by Louis Brandt in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland in 1848. In 1903 they changed their name to Omega and subsequently became part of the Swiss Swatch Group in 1982 when they officially adopted the name Omega SA. The Chronostop was originally launched as a Seamaster model but in 1967 the line was transferred to the ”Geneve” collection.
This pre-owned Omega Geneve Chronostop is a classic timepiece with a luxurious yet understated design. Featuring a stainless steel case measuring 41.5mm in diameter and 13mm thick, the Omega Geneve Chronostop has an integrated bracelet and folding clasp for added comfort on the wrist. The anthracite grey textured racing dial turned brownish and features applied steel batons with lume pips marking the hours and a Chronostop single pusher at 2 o’clock to engage, stop, read the seconds and reset. Inside beats omega's manually wound caliber 920 which offers 17 jewels and 21,600 beats per hour for precise timekeeping.
