The Omega Seamaster Diver 300M
The first watch to ever feature a helium escape valve in the Omega collection is the Omega Seamaster 300. This watch is the first truly diver’s watch from Omega, being water-resistant up to 30 bar (300 meter). It was first released back in the early 1990s, but it’s still in production today, making it a popular diver’s watch amongst enthusiasts.
All about the Omega Seamaster Diver 300M
The Frenchman Roland Specker wore the Omega Seamaster Diver 300M on his wrist while setting a record: he was freediving 80 meter with the Omega by his side. This all happened in 1993, just a couple of years after the release of the Omega Seamaster Diver 300M. The Omega Seamaster 300M differs from the Omega Seamaster 300, with a date-display on the 300M and a modern design compared to the regular Seamaster 300. When it comes to dial colors, you can get your hands on a white, grey, blue, black or olive-green dial, which was released in 2022.
Omega produces their Omega Seamaster Diver 300M in different sizes, from 28mm up to 44mm. That makes it a true diver’s watch available for both men and women. You can either pick a stainless-steel model, ceramic, gold or titanium.
It doesn’t take you a year to safe up money to buy an Omega Seamaster Diver 300M. The cheapest watch available is the 300M Quartz in 36mm with a stainless-steel case, costing just under €2.000. The 41mm automatic Seamaster Diver 300M is the GMT, costing just over €4.000. The most expensive watch in the Seamaster 300M collection from Omega is the James Bond Limited Edition, which measures 42mm and is made of 18-karat yellow gold. This piece will set you back around €40.000 to call it your own.
