The Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean Chronograph
When Omega released the Seamaster Planet Ocean back in 2005, there are some functions added to the watch, such as a GMT or a chronograph. The Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M Chronograph is made of different materials, such as stainless-steel, titanium or platinum. The watch features an additional hand and a bidirectional bezel with a 24-hour scale.
Variations & Pricing
Since there are a lot of materials used on the Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean Chronograph, the prices vary from €5.000 pre-owned all the way up to €60.000 or more for a never worn piece in titanium. The watch is water-resistant up to 600 meter and features the helium escape valve, just like the regular Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean. The Chronograph features and extra hand and a bidirectional bezel with a 24-hour scale.
The most affordable one in the Omega collection is the stainless-steel Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean Chronograph costing you around €5.000 in a pre-owned state on Wristler.
The titanium piece is a bit more expensive at €5.700. These pieces both feature the Co-Axial caliber 8605, while the more modern piece feature the Master Chronometer Caliber 8906. The stainless-steel watch in the Omega collection with the new caliber is priced at around €6.500, while the platinum Planet Ocean GMT needs at least €66.000 to take it home.
