Wristler’s Recap: December 2025

We could've done a yearly recap, but that would take too long. Sorry. And: thank you! It’s been an amazing year, and we have doubled again in 2025, compared to 2024. And that really is mindblowing. We would never dream of doing these kind of numbers, so we’re really grateful. For now: a recap for December 2025 with some really surprising watches. Enjoy!

Overall trends in December

The month that keeps on giving, is December for sure. Loads of Christmas gifts, smaller watches, more elegant watches and some truly unique watches got sold in December. What we didn’t expect: lots of Nomos. Why? No idea to be honest, but we’ve sold almost all different models in December which was great. We’ve put together a personal top-5 again, with some interesting stories. Read on!

Our Personal Favorites

New Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean

To start of the December recap for 2025, one watch got sold which we really didn’t expect. Just a couple of weeks before, Omega released their brand-new Seamaster Planet Ocean with the completely new design, no Helium Escape Valve and a totally different case and bracelet. And it looks brilliant. On one of the first days in December we already sold that new Planet Ocean (with serious discount compared to the retailed prices) to a new customer in Germany. Enjoy, Mr P!

Diamond Sundust Datejust

The second pick for December wasn’t that hard to pick. We had a new customer from The Netherlands reaching out to us because his wife turned 50, and he wanted to give her something special. So, it turned out to be the Datejust 36 with the pink/silver sunburst dial, diamonds on 6 and 9 and rose gold (everose) with steel, but on the Oyster-bracelet (which is a configuration you won’t see very often). They came to pick it up at our humble HQ, and we had a blast. She was really happy! Enjoy, Miss N!

Diamond Day-Date

This third one just does the trick. It’s giving season (at least it was) and this watch would be the perfect Christmas watch. A Day-Date in 36mm is always a great choice, but this one? Stood out like crazy. As we’d like to call it: a Day-Date with extra sauce. Diamonds on the lugs, on the string and as hour markers. I mean, damn, this is a sexy piece. Enjoy, Mr C!

Vintage Piaget

So this one is actually my personal favorite of the month. And I love the fact that these watches are still around. This just makes the day a bit better, I guess. A vintage Piaget Protocole with a solid yellow gold case, a manual wound movement and the Onyx dial. If you really have some taste, this would be it. And remember: big boys wear small watches too! Enjoy Mr P!

Carbotech Panerai

You can go stylish in December, but full stealth mode is also an option. And that’s the reason we’ve picked this one to be in the top 5: a Carbotech Panerai Luminor Submersible 1950 3-day Automatic on rubber. So sick! I really wish I had larger wrists, because these things just look amazing. With the warm hour markers, hands combined with the stealthy look, this is marvelous. Enjoy, Mr R!

December was full of joy. Just like the rest of the year, to be honest. And January 2026 has been giving us great vibes as well. We already sold some watches that we really want to share with you guys, but stick around for the next Wristler recap. Talk soon!
