The finest of February '26: Monthly Recap

Within the shortest month of the year, and my birth-month, it was a pleasure. We’ve seen crazy cool pieces in our Escrow checkout, and we’re highlighting one of the finest watches sold in February 2026. Including some awesome stories, that has all to do with grandkids. What about it? Read on!

Overall trends in February 2026

It was the shortest month of the year, but you guys didn’t disappoint. In fact, you bought more watches compared to January which is great. Overall, we saw an increase in interest in Tudor and Rolex, but thankfully some other amazing pieces as well. I don’t want to sound cocky, but selling Rolex almost feels like a standard. Even though we’re highlighting one special piece from Rolex which is one of my personal favorites. Let’s go!

Our personal favorites: Top 5 from February

We’ve selected 5 of the coolest watches sold. Doesn’t have to be a cool watch though, it could also be an interesting story behind the purchase. You might wonder why we know all these details about the orders: we’re enthusiasts. And thus, we have loads of contact before and after the order was placed, so we kind of know why people are buying certain watches on our platform. We also have the pleasure to have people over at our humble HQ for some interesting stories (and pick-up their watch of course), so that’s helping as well. Alright, now over to the watches!

Grand Seiko Evo 9

This. This is fine horologerie in my opinion. The polish on the case, the amazing blue dial (with so much depth) and the wearability on a daily basis, this is simply fantastic. We welcomed a new customer from Belgium, and after some nice chats, he decided it was time to pull the trigger on this GS Evo 9. The best part? It’s for sale for €11.500 at the local boutique. But, he got his hands on a brand-new piece for €8.000. Selling watches below list on a daily basis, and this is one of the finest we’ve seen.

Rolex Oysterquartz

We already mentioned that we would include one or two watches from Rolex in our top-5. Usually we skip these watches since we sell so many, but this is a personal favorite. The OG Oysterquartz, reference 17014 with the white gold bezel and a silver dial is just lovely. Sold to a new customer from Marseille, this is such an awesome and iconic watch. And thus, a well deserved spot in our top-5 of the month.

IWC Portuguese Chronograph

A new customer from Germany has bought himself a unicorn. It’s now sold out everywhere, but with our Certified Sellers, we managed to get our hands on one of the very last ones available. The IWC Portuguese Chrono (ref IW371611) is a rose gold chronograph, setting you back €23.000 at your local boutique. Through Wristler? €15.250. You’re welcome. Enjoy, Mr. C!

Rolex Datejust 36

Yes, we get it: it’s iconic. And thus super popular. But, we still managed to sell one of the coolest modern Datejust 36s out there: a blue motif dial on jubilee and fluted white gold bezel: the full package. And it looks incredible. These are getting more and more popular, which is pretty strange. When it got discontinued, we didn’t see an increase in requests, but now, two years later, it suddenly gets attention. Another fun-fact: this customer from The Netherlands has asked ChatGPT for the best place to buy a watch. Grateful that we could’ve welcomed him. Enjoy, Mr. J!

3 is better than 1

So, we’re finalizing our top-5 with three watches. Which might feel like cheating, but we’re still doing it anyway. The reason for us to cheat on our top-5? We sold 3 watches to one new customer from Germany, and he picked three chronographs. A Breitling Navitimer, and two Tudor Black Bay Chrono’s (Black and Flamingo Blue). We’ve had some contact before he pulled the trigger, and he wanted to get his hands on three unworn pieces for his grandkids. And that just makes us work harder, since this isn’t just about a timepiece. It’s about legacy, and that’s why we’re doing this. Many thanks, Mr. B!

Final words for February

We’ve successfully closed February (including refunds, yes that happens as well) and we’re seeing some crazy things in March. And yes, that has all to do with the speculations for Watches&Wonders 2026, so everyone’s eyeing on the probability of discontinued watches. We won’t be sure what’s happening until it does. Thanks for reading!
