The 116234 Datejust from Rolex

The Datejust from the Swiss manufacturer Rolex is probably the most sought-after watch ever, especially measuring 36mm: the perfect piece for both men and women to wear. Since the OG was released in 36mm, the 116234 Datejust also measures 36mm, available on both the Jubilee-bracelet and Oyster-bracelet. The bezel is made of solid 18-karat white gold, while you can get your hands on numerous designs when it comes to the dial color.

One of those cool (discontinued) dials, is the tuxedo-dial: with a contrasting inner circle in the dial, these pieces are popular amongst collectors and enthusiasts. You can also opt for a black dial, silver dial or even porcelain (white). There are some watches to be found with diamonds as indices, Roman numerals or even Arabic numerals. Expect to pay at least €7.000 for a pre-owned Rolex Datejust 116234, up to €10.000 for a diamond-set piece.
