The brand with one hand

Meistersinger watches

The single-hand watches from Meistersinger are one of the unique features on these models, with a minimalistic design with a German touch, but also with Swiss made movements. These Meistersinger watches are the perfect one-hand pieces to add to your collection if you want to stand out from the crowd. Compared to other brands, these models are pretty affordable in the luxury watch market.

The history of Meistersinger

When you approach life differently, you need to get your hands on a Meistersinger watch. You won’t be on time when meeting someone, but that’s the charm on these pieces. Meistersinger is known for their simple one-hand watches, even award-winning timepieces.

The meaning of the brand is simple: escape the chaos of everyday life with just one hand on your watch, not being able to be in time exactly. The brands’ logo, the fermata, is a symbol for the open semi-circle with a dot in the middle: it’s used in music to indicate a pause, representing the brands’ philosophy.

Different models

When you’re in the market for an extremely flat piece, make sure to add the Neo collection to your wish list. Being inspired by the design from the 50s, the watch measures 36mm or 40mm, being the perfect mid-size watch for both men and women to wear. The Neo-collection from Meistersinger is powered by an ultra-flat Quartz movement, and will cost you around €1.000 for a new, never worn piece.

You can also opt for a manual wound movement on the Meistersinger watches, like the No.02, No.01 or the Circularis.

These single-hand pieces only feature a time function. If you want some other features to your watch you might opt for the automatic calibers from Meistersinger. The No.01 and No.02 are prices around €1.200 pre-owned up to €2.000 new.

With more complications like a date, day-date and moon phase, you can get your hands on a Meistersinger Pangaea Day Date for roughly €1.800, but the Lunascope would be interesting a well, costing just under €2.800 for the moon phase Meistersinger.
