Let us begin with the history of the Piaget brand. In 1874, Georges-Édouard Piaget founded a small watchmaking workshop in Switzerland, but initially did not even officially register his brand – this only happened in 1943. For most of its history, Piaget remained a relatively small but highly respected brand, producing some of the finest movements in the industry. During the 60s and 70s of the 20th century, the brand gained popularity among high society in the USA and became a preferred choice for personalities such as Elvis Presley, Miles Davis, and Andy Warhol.
The Piaget Polo S series first appeared in 2016 as the perfect steel watch for everyday use. The manufacturer's goal was clear – to offer a line that could compete with the biggest names in the segment and combine a sporty look with elegance and luxury.
The example offered today is part of a strictly limited series of only 888 pieces (as is known, the number 8 is considered lucky in Chinese culture) and was introduced in 2017. The watch has an extremely comfortable size of 42 mm and a thickness of just 9.4 mm. One of the first things that distinguishes it from the standard Polo S is the ADLC (amorphous diamond-like carbon) coating on the bezel – a carbon layer that protects against scratches and adds a slight sheen, completing the overall look.
The horizontal lines on the dial add extra depth and character, and the black color ensures excellent legibility. The seconds hand features an elegantly skeletonized letter "P" on its counterweight and a red tip – a detail that shows the brand's attention to fine elements. The strap is rubber, but thanks to its texture and stitching, it can easily be mistaken for leather.
The transparent case back allows us to enjoy the beautiful in-house Piaget Caliber 1110P movement. This is a modern automatic caliber from the brand, proven over time, with 180 components, 25 jewels, and a 50-hour power reserve – excellent characteristics for a watch intended for daily wear.

- Visible signs of wear such as scratches, small dents, or light bracelet stretch. May have been professionally polished. Fully functional mechanically.
- Fair
- Clearly visible signs of wear, including scratches, dents, or noticeable bracelet or clasp wear. Servicing may be recommended in the future. Fully functional unless otherwise stated.
