Wristler Recap of Summer 2025

Since it’s the summer, it’s time for some family and friends, going on holidays, recharging for the last quarter of the year. And thus, we decided to summarize our monthly recap into one total summer-recap. For you to enjoy, to see what keeps us going and being able to tell that we’re on track to our business compared to 2024. Which is great! We’re grateful for all of you for supporting our company, so a big shoutout to you!

Overall look of July 2025

First of all, the summer is always a bit more laid-back and easy-going. When it comes to people searching for their desired watches, buying them or asking some questions about movements etc. But, even though it felt that the summer was a bit quiet, we still managed to sell some amazing pieces to amazing customers throughout Europe. And that’s what keeps us going on a daily basis. One thing that we really noticed in July, was the fact that we sold more pre-owned and vintage watches compared to other months, which surprised us in a good way. We also noticed that there was a huge run on pre-owned Omega watches, but we can’t seem to figure out why.

Overall – August 2025

In August, there was a huge run on Rolex watches. To be more specific: Lady-Datejusts. We’ve sold 4 on the first day of August, and it kept going. Again, we haven’t figured out why, but that was a trend we’ve seen in August. July was, according to the sales and numbers, a bit better compared to August, but we get it: you guys enjoyed your holidays as well. Hopefully!

As you all know by now, we’ve got ourselves a top-5 sold watches per month. So, as this is a Summer-recap combining July and August, we’ve got two lined up for you. Spoiler-alert: we’ve got some crazy cool watches coming up!

July favorites

For starters, we’ve sold a watch that you won’t see every other day. We’re talking Rolex, and this time it was sent over to Ireland to be enjoyed by the new owner. We’ve sold a two-tone white dial Rolex Yacht-Master II, which has been discontinued, making it pretty rare. To be honest, we haven’t sold that many Yacht-Master II’s on our platform in the last years, so it was a nice surprise.

As we’ve already mentioned, we got to sell loads of pre-owned Omega watches in July. Our favorite watch sold from Omega? This amazing Speedmaster Day-Date reference 3520.53.00. A grey dial, day & date complication and the amazing details on the dial really make this a special one. Sold to a new customer in Germany, we wish you all the joy with this amazing watch!

Our third one in the July Top ranking is something out of the box. At least out of our box, since we never sell Hublot watches. But this time, we’ve sold 2 on 1 day. Which was a first on Wristler. This Hublot Big Bang was sold to a new customer in Germany from our Certified Seller Chronext, so the watch came from Germany, and stays there. Enjoy, Mr W!

Another one for Ireland is this Tudor Prince Day + Date, reference 76213, so that’s the 36mm version with the updated bracelet and a linen champagne dial which looks amazing. So good value for money this is, we don’t really get why these are so affordable in the current market. For reference: this watch got sold for €2.750 which is a true steal! My absolute favorite watch we’ve sold this month.

To end our top-5 from July, we’ve got a banger for you. A rose-gold banger to be exact: the 126715CHNR, the full rose gold Rootbeer GMT-Master II from Rolex. The watch was in mint condition from 2024 and it was the most expensive watch we’ve sold in July as well (just over €40.000). A new customer from Austria reached out to us with some questions and after he had gained enough confidence from our team, he decided to pull the trigger on his absolute grail-watch. Enjoy, Mr P!

So, that was our top-5 for July. Let’s move on to August, which has some surprises for you as well. Enjoy!

August faves

As we’ve already mentioned, on the first day in August we’ve sold 4 Lady-Datejusts. All two-tone, but different dial colors. So, it’s not a personal favorite, but the fact that we’ve sold 4 different ones on 1 day makes it special. One of the configurations we’ve sold that day you ask? This!

One that really stood out in August, was this amazing Omega. A mint condition 18 karat gold De Ville Co-Axial, with a silver sunburst dial which is the perfect spec if you ask me: silver sunburst with a solid gold case works really well. Sold to a new customer from The Netherlands, who now gets to enjoy this amazing watch!

So, we’ve got two Breitling watches in our August favorites, and the first one is this Breitling Chronomat 38 with diamonds. We sell loads of Chronomat watches, which is great and understandable, since you will get a serious discount on Wristler compared to your local Breitling boutique, but this one really stands out with the bezel filled with diamonds and the ice-blue dial. Sold to a new customer from Germany, we wish you all the best with this one!

The other Breitling is a Chronomat as well, but this time a 42mm, in full rose gold with a grey dial. Such a cool combination. This was a slightly pre-owned one, but in mint condition. Sold to a great guy from Spain, who was looking for this one for months now. Enjoy, Mr P!

The last one to finish our top 5 from August, is this amazing summer piece. Since I’ve got a NOMOS myself, I’ve fallen in love with the brand. It wears perfect, the finish is amazing and the price is even better. This Tangente is a brand-new one, with a bright yellow dial worn on a grey strap. This is the perfect summer watch, right?
