The gift that keeps on gifting, that’s the feel when it comes to last month’s result. June was the best month ever, since the start of our company 3.5 years ago. We’ve sold so many watches in June, and as you’re now used to: we will highlight some of the most crazy, unique and awesome pieces in this monthly recap. Enjoy!

As mentioned, it was the best month ever when it comes to results. Loads of watches sold with returning customers (again), multiple new, vintage and neo-vintage watches that have found a new home. We know this month (July) isn’t the best month, so we’re glad that we can look back at June for now.
Another month, another highlight. And these personal favorites are something special, especially the first one, but that’s because I’m biased and a true vintage watch lover. We also sold the most expensive watch ever in June, selling for over €80.000. Can you guess what it is just yet?
A Datejust isn’t that rare anymore. We’ve got 1.000+ available on our platform and we sell them on a daily basis. Which is awesome, don’t get me wrong. But when we sell a watch that really stands out, it’s extra satisfying. And that goes for this specific watch: a 36mm Rolex Datejust ‘Ovetone’. This particular watch bears reference 6305, introduced in the mid 50s. A finely milled bezel (coin-edged) texture, a solid yellow gold case, a roulette-date and a rare Swiss-Only pie-pan dial with red writing, this is truly something special. Something that real collectors can appreciate.
Breitling has released multiple watches that are limited, boutique-only editions. Such as the Breitling SuperOcean Rainbow, with its colored hands and indices. We’ve sold the watch in the beginning of June, but wasn’t easy to get our hands on. But, after some serious headache, we managed. And thus: something really special from the Breitling catalog, which is now sold-out everywhere, and extra special that we could hand-deliver it in our humble HQ. Amazing summer piece!
Alright, here comes the most expensive watch ever. Well, not ever, but sold through Wristler: a platinum Rolex Daytona ‘Platona’ with its ice blue dial, full platinum case and bracelet and brownish bezel. A customer from Germany was looking for his absolute grail-piece and ended up buying through our platform, since he really valued the Escrow, especially when it’s around €80.000. Extra safety always comes in handy, but especially in this case. With a VIP-delivery from our Certified Seller, the watch has been worn every single day. Awesome!
We’ve sold the most expensive watch so far in June, but also the biggest in diameter. And again, it’s from the Swiss Crown: Rolex. It bears reference 126067, so it’s full RLX Titanium. Any guesses? Yep, the Rolex Sea-Dweller Deepsea Challenge. An unworn piece from 2023, a full RLX Titanium watch and it measures 50mm. That makes it the biggest watch we sold thus far. And the best thing? This customer already came back for his second purchase on Wristler, but that was in July. So can’t talk about that just yet.
Just like the Datejust we mentioned earlier, we sell a lot of Submariners. And one of the watches within the Submariner catalog, is the 126610LV, nicknamed the Starbucks. We always sell one or two each month, but this time we’ve sold 4. Is there something we don’t know about the Starbucks? Is it being discontinued later? No clue just yet. But a huge congrats to all 4 new owners!
Well, just like May, July was a bit of a slow start. And we still get to make people very happy with their newly purchased watches, but July always is a bit of a mess. Some guys from our team are on Holidays, the weather is nice, other priorities, so we won’t get our hopes up just yet. But who knows what’s coming for us. Again, we will enjoy the ride!
