Breitling has increased their retail prices in 2023 with a serious amount, such as the well-known Breitling Navitimer which sells for €8.800 now at retail, while the Navitimer was around €6.000 retail a couple of years ago. Since Breitling is increasing their retail prices, the popularity and demand still rises, which might feel strange. Breitling is struggling a bit with their deliveries, since it might take up to 9 months to get your brand-new Breitling watch straight from Breitling when you order it.

And that’s something that will be a good sign for the pre-owned and vintage Breitling market. With that being said, our prediction is that Breitling will continue to increase their retail prices, up to 5% in 2024. They might even consider to increase their prices twice next year, such as Rolex did in 2022 and 2023.

Prices of vintage and pre-owned Breitling watches are still rising and will continue to do so in 2024, since their new watches are pretty expensive nowadays. With the growing demand for luxury items, such as Breitling watches, it makes sense that the prices of vintage and pre-owned models will rise in 2024. 

Servicing your Breitling

Another thing that Breitling changed in 2023, is the contracts with their service centers. Since they’ve started to produce their in-house movements such as the B01, they’ve withdrawn the contracts from most of their independent service centers, making it impossible to service your watch other than at the Breitling points, such as the local authorized dealer (AD). Expect to pay a lot more for the needed service of your Breitling in 2024, and be prepared to wait a little longer to get it back from the Breitling service.
