The Formula 1 team of Aston Martin is located near the Silverstone circuit, an iconic circuit where something spectacular happens every year. Let's wait and see what the 2023 season will bring at Silverstone, as it is still planned at the time of writing. Good, the collaboration of Girard-Perregaux and Aston Martin. Nice detail: the abbreviation of Girard-Perregaux is GP. They will probably not have chosen the collaboration at Aston Martin, but it is certainly a nice detail. Aston Martin is of course known for the beautiful cars on the grid in 2023, with a beautiful livery and colours. Coincidence does not exist: these colors are also used on the Girard-Perregaux limited watch.

The watch that Girard-Perregaux has put together for the sponsorship of the Aston Martin F1 team is the GP Laureato Absolute Chronograph Aston Martin F1 Edition. This watch is limited to 306 pieces, for a reason: that is the exact distance the drivers cover on the Silverstone circuit. Naturally, the Girard-Perregaux is made of carbon with a green dial (with structure) and a green strap. The watch has contrasting details in bright green, just like the Aston Martin F1 cars. The chronograph function was to be expected: an absolute must, especially in F1.

How much does a Girard-Perregaux F1 Aston Martin Edition cost?

The men at Ferrari and McLaren wear priceless watches. At Red Bull and Mercedes, the watches are slightly more affordable, while the Aston Martin watch falls somewhere in between. The Girard-Perregaux Laureato F1 Absolute Chronograph will cost you €27.800. At least, that's the retail price. Of course, all 306 pieces have now been forgiven and sold, making it very difficult to get hold of such a watch.
