Wristler Recap: Trends, Sales & Pick-ups March 2025

It’s time for something brand-new here on Wristler Insights (and our socials) with a monthly recap from the most amazing watches we sold, the stories behind these watches why they are bought, and memorable pick-ups at our HQ. Yes, that’s still possible at Wristler, just let us know if you’d like that. Enjoy this very first Monthly Recap from us to you!

Overall sales and trends spotted

To kick things of with this new concept of monthly recaps, we’re still amazingly grateful for what’s happening with our company. 3.5 years ago we had a dream, worked our *sses off and it looks like we’re on a serious quest, which is amazing. With that being said, we had a really good month at Wristler in March, selling amazing watches to amazing customers. Most of the watches sold in March were from the Swiss manufacturer Rolex, with multiple GMT-Masters, Datejusts in different configurations and some Daytona’s. In April, Watches&Wonders was hosted, so some people speculated on watches being discontinued, so we’ve seen a rise in sales in modern Rolex watches, where usually we sell some more vintage or neo-vintage pieces.

Another thing we saw on Wristler, is the fact that lots of customers came to us with the desire to purchase a luxury watch below the official listed price at the local boutiques, for instance we sold multiple Baume & Mercier Riviera watches (which saves you around 10-15% on the retail price).

Our Top-5 from March 2025

We started out March in a very very good way, selling a platinum F.P. Journe Octa on the first of March to a new customer from France. But wow, this was a piece! It features a date window, small seconds dial, a power-reserve indicator and the moon phase, al housed in a platinum case. Such an amazing watch, and a huge congrats to the new owner.

Furthermore, we’ve sold our very first ever iced-out watch. Yes, these diamonds were set aftermarket, but the customer loves it. Sold to Spain, this full iced-out Datejust 41 features Arabic numerals, a full pave-set dial and diamonds on the bezel, case and bracelet.

When it comes to beautiful stories, here’s one: a customer from The Netherlands contacted us to acquire his first ever luxury watch. It’s for his wedding later this year, and he really loved the new Rolex GMT-Master II with the grey and black bezel. This Bruce Wayne as it’s called fits him perfectly, and we know since he came to our humble HQ to pick up his GMT. Thanks again, and thanks for the lovely cookies you brought! Really appreciate it.

One thing that we really love, and didn’t thing that it would happen, is the fact that we would have so many returning customers. Back in December 2024, a customer of ours reached out for his dream watch: a blue motif Datejust 41 in mint condition. So, together with our certified sellers we managed to deliver this within a week. Only 3 months later, he reached out to us again, since he was eyeing on another watch: a TAG Heuer Aquaracer with the motif-dial as well. So, he ordered one with some serious discount (-€1.500) on Wristler. Just minutes after he confirmed this order, he ordered his third watch which was an amazing pink dial Grand Seiko SBGA413: the snowflake dial on this piece is simply amazing! Again, this piece saved him €1.700 compared to the listed price at the boutique. Thanks again, amazing to see you’re building a motif-dial collection!

To finish our top-5 from March 2025, this was a pick-up as well. And it’s been such a pleasure! Father and son-in-law came to us with the desire to buy two watches at the same time. So, we’ve reached out in our network of certified sellers to get this deal done as soon as possible and it happened: on Monday they ordered the well-known ‘Panda’ Daytona (the new reference) and the mint-green Datejust 41, and we hand-delivered them on Tuesday at our humble HQ. Talking about fascinating stories when it comes to selling watches: this is exactly why we started this journey 3.5 years ago.

Pick-ups at our HQ

Sometimes we might refer to it as a pick-up at our HQ, a delivery party or our clubhouse-meet: we know Wristler is a marketplace for watch enthusiasts, but we’re very grateful to be able to hand-deliver some pieces here at our HQ. Please note that our address isn’t posted online, so if you’d like to pick up your watch here (and get it sized) we’re more than happy to help out. Got a special search-request? We’ve got you covered, thanks to our amazing certified sellers.

What do you think about this new concept? Let us know and we’ll get better next time. See you at the monthly recap for April!
