The Breitling Montbrillant
With the looks of the well-known Navitimer, the Montbrillant is a different version within the Breitling catalog. It’s been around ever since the release of the Datora, which is a vintage Breitling with two sub-dials and a moon-phase, and even a triple-date function. The more modern versions of the Breitling Montbrillant are made of steel or gold and steel, and feature three sub-dials and an automatic movement. You can use the watch to time the laps, measure speed and use the date-function as well, making it a pretty complicated watch.
When you’re in the market for a pre-owned or vintage Breilting Montbrillant, expect to pay €2.500 for a vintage piece, up to €5.000 for a pre-owned piece from 2013. These watches can be found on a leather strap or the well-known racing bracelet in stainless-steel from Breitling with the 7-link system.
