The Breitling Crosswind

The Breitling Crosswind is seen as an entry-level chronograph watch in the Breitling collection, being one of the most affordable chronograph watches around. Some models feature a stainless-steel case, while you can also opt for a solid gold version. Since Breitling retired this model, most of the watches are NOS (new old stock) or pre-owned. The watch features Roman numerals on the dial and a unidirectional bezel with rider tabs.

All about the Breitling Crosswind

With the 43mm case size, the Breitling Crosswind is available in two-tone stainless-steel with yellow gold, solid yellow gold or stainless-steel. There’s a 12-hour counter at 6, small seconds at 9 and a 30-minute counter at 12 o’clock making the watch easily readable. The watch usually comes on a leather strap in black or brown, making it look like a classy chronograph.

Starting with the Breitling Crosswind A13055 this €3.000 stainless-steel Crosswind is pretty affordable when it comes to luxury watches. The two-tone stainless-steel with yellow gold B13055 will set you back around €4.000. The solid gold versions of the Breitling Crosswind sell for around €8.000 up to €11.500, depending on your wishes being a chronometer or not.
