This mid-size execution of the Gérald Genta design is in overall fantastic condition.
At 36 mm this Royal Oak is more wearable than the ‘Jumbo’, but due to its 8mm thickness it still has a civilized wrist presence, and that’s what we strive for.
The Royal Oak has the recognisable octagonal bezel, case and stainless steel integrated bracelet. This example is perfectly finished, as you can see at the macro-pictures.
The beautiful modern ‘enlarged tapisserie’ with the original Cosmic blue dial is the most sought after in the shorter index series. The understated blue tapisserie plays a fantastic game with the light, it repeatedly provides hours of viewing pleasure.
This Cosmic version is easy recognisable by the white frame around the date window at 3 o’clock.
This automatic calibre 2325 is in perfect condition. The case and integrated bracelet are in equally great condition, showing only small sings of careful previous ownership. The folding clasp constructed with the stretched AP logo is a real functional piece of art.
Of course this Royal Oak comes as a complete set with the Audemars Piguet box and the ‘Extract from the Archives’ confirming it's registration date April 28th 2006.
You can wear it from corporate meeting to the cocktail party, it’s got so much versatility. It suits those who like to stay under the radar without compromising on ‘high end’ collecting timepieces.
