We're proud to find and offer this exceptional Audemars Piguet Royal Oak reference 14790ST in stainless steel, distinguished by its highly attractive tropical dial. The watch is accompanied by the Extract from the Audemars Piguet Archives, confirming its registration on October 17th, 2000.
At 36 mm, this Royal Oak offers a highly balanced and refined wrist presence. The proportions are elegant and versatile, which makes it an ideal choice for both daily wear and more formal occasions. Its slim profile ensures comfort, while preserving the unmistakable Royal Oak design language.
The iconic octagonal bezel, secured by the signature hexagonal Whit Gold bolds, is combined with the integrated stainless steel bracelet. This cohesive construction defines the Royal Oak aesthetic, which has remained largely unchanged since its introduction. The finishing displays the expected contrast between brushed surfaces and polished bevels, which enhances the architectural character of the case.
The standout feature of this particular example is its tropical dial. Originally produced with a darker tone, the dial has developed a warm, rich patina over time. This natural ageing process creates unique brown nuances across the surface, which gives the watch a distinctive and highly collectible appearance.
