Watches & Wonders 2026: Rolex releases

Rolex’s 2026 releases at Watches & Wonders hasn’t surprised us to be honest. We’ve expected something to happen with the Oyster Perpetual, there’s a new dial for the Datejust 41 and the ‘Albino’ Daytona, with some really cool features. The release feels a bit boring, but let’s dive into what the watch world has to say about this! Another thing that’s good to know: the GMT-Master II ‘Pepsi’ officially got discontinued. Congrats to those that listened to the rumours!

The New Oyster Perpetual 41

A grey dial, steel case and gold smooth bezel: back to the roots with this 100-year anniversary of the Oyster Perpetual 41. Does it look good? It looks a bit off to be honest. I totally get the colorways, but it feels a bit ‘flat’ with these contrasting materials. It features the well-known case from the updated 41 OP, but now with Rolesor details such as the hour markers, crown and bezel. Bearing reference 134303, this model will set you back €9.400 at the boutique, but expect the hype to be real on the grey market in the beginning.

The Festive Oyster Perpetual 36

Looks like the dial that Rolex has released before, the Oyster Perpetual 36 now features a colorful festive dial for the 100-year anniversary. And it’s wild! With all colors available, they’ve put it all in one dial screaming Rolex. The reference hasn’t changed, bearing reference 126000, and the list price is €6.550.

Interesting: full gold OP 28 and 34

Usually sizes worn by women, this is the part where it actually gets interesting. A new Oyster Perpetual 28 and 34, with some amazing dials, and a totally new finish: solid gold! A big yes to this new model, since this is something to keep an eye on. A Green Stone of Blue Stone lacquered dial, 18k gold case and bracelet (both Everose and Yellow Gold), this is such an iconic one. And thus will be super popular once it’s available. You know what’s really cool? The hour markers at 3, 6 and 9 which are made of natural stone, which is a first for Rolex. Pricing will start at €29.500 for the 28mm.

Yacht-Master II: Return That No One Wants

The Yacht-Master II is back. And we really don’t get why. The successor wasn’t that great of a success, so what’s about to change with the release of the brand new one? Available in Oystersteel or 18k yellow gold, the new Regatta Timer from Rolex is something different. The new 4162 caliber got updated with a new countdown timer, and thus Rolex seems to say this is revolutionary. It still measures 44mm, it’s still way too expensive and looks hideous. Pricing for the 126680 (Oystersteel) start at €19.850. The Yellow Gold will set you back €56.700. Does this become popular again?

New Daytona: The exciting part

Yeah! Another Daytona, and this ‘Albino’ Daytona is actually pretty slick. An open caseback, a totally new bezel and the full-white dial make this to be another hit in the Rolex catalog, probably being sold out for the coming 10 years. The best part? A combination of stainless steel and Platinum on the new Daytona, which is awesome.

Discontinued: GMT-Master II ‘Pepsi’

As the rumours had it, the GMT Pepsi is now finally discontinued after years of telling people it will be out of the Rolex catalog. So, a huge congrats to those that listened to these rumours and got their hands on the last pieces. What’s your take on the Rolex release in 2026?
