Buying watches at your AD
We’ve mentioned it before. And will do so again: what’s the reason you’re buying a watch at your local AD? At first, you need to wait a couple of years before getting your hands on your desired piece. If you’re lucky enough to buy one, you’ve waited for years and they’ve increased their prices multiple times. Yearly.
Sometimes you even have to buy some jewelry (which isn’t allowed, but who’s going to tell you) so you can get your hands on that GMT-Master II. And the crazy thing is, grey market versus green market (AD) prices aren’t that different anymore.
