The new Omega Seamaster 2023 models

With the anniversary of the Omega Seamaster, Omega decided to launch some new models for the 75th anniversary at the end of June in 2023. We can find some new models like the new Omega Ploprof, Ultra Deep and Planet Ocean with a summer touch. Read on to find out everything you need to know about the new Seamaster collection from Omega.

All new Omega watches

Omega launched 11 new reference numbers with the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Omega Seamaster. All of these reference numbers feature a special type of blue dial, with the depth of the blue depending on the water-resistance of the watch. For instance, the Seamaster Aqua Terra feature a light shade of blue, the 300M are a bit darker and the Planet Ocean 600M and Ultra Deep and Ploprof are even darker compared to the others.

The 600M Seamaster Planet Ocean 2023

Bearing reference number 215.30.40.20.03.002, this is the new Omega Seamaster 600M Planet Ocean with a lighter blue dial, a black ceramic bezel with blue inserts and SuperLuminova on the hands and hour indices. It comes in 39.5mm and it wears extremely comfortable for everyone’s wrist. The steel Planet Ocean bracelet differs from the other 300M collection and it looks amazing, especially with the caseback with the Poseidon and the two seahorses on there. The retail price of this Planet Ocean 600M 75th edition will probably be around €6.500.

Omega Seamaster 1200M Ploprof 2023

This all-new Seamaster was a bit of a surprise to be honest, with the release of the reference 227.32.55.21.03.001. The Ploprof was discontinued in 2019 and now it’s back, with the all-new 1200M is back in stainless-steel, even in a smaller size to bring back the 70s vibe. It features a monobloc case with a bidirectional bezel and a rubber strap that reminds us to the original 70s Seamaster Ploprof. You can get your hands on the new Seamaster 1200M Ploprof for around €12.500.

Seamaster Ultra Deep – that dial!

To be honest, the best dial we’ve seen from Omega is the dial on the 75th anniversary edition of the Seamaster Ultra Deep reference 215.30.46.21.03.002, which looks like the ocean in a dark blue color, light blue colored indices and hands with SuperLuminova. This dial looks extra good and can even dive up to 6000 meters, which is crazy for an every day watch. There even is a really cool extra on the 75th anniversary, which is an Easter Egg with a pattern on the dial that only lights up using a UV-light. You can find this watch for around €11.500 which is the official retail price for the Seamaster Ultra Deep.
