New 2025 Tudor Ranger: Finally a 36mm!

You probably know by now that we’re Tudor fan-boys. Can’t help it. And with the latest release of the Ranger-collection, something good happened. A new 36mm version was added, but also a Dune White dial next to its black version is now available. Let’s dive into the newest addition within the Tudor family!

Ranger’s history

With the history stretching back to the 1960s, the all-round exploration watch was born. The old Ranger was discontinued, but brought back in 2014 with the Tudor Heritage Ranger ref 79910, measuring 41mm, featuring an ETA movement. In 2022 Tudor decided that the upgrade was needed: the 39mm Tudor Ranger was born and was powered by their in-house movement (which makes the case a little bit slimmer). With Dubai Watch Week 2025 going on in full-speed, Tudor released another version of the Ranger. And it’s pretty damn good.

Tudor and Rolex

We can’t hide the fact that the Tudor Ranger looks like the original Rolex Explorer reference 1016, after all, what Tudor did with this watch was what Rolex did with their Explorer, an all-day adventure watch. And that’s a good thing. The vintage Tudor Ranger was different compared to the 1016 though, with a 34mm Oyster case, a matte black dial and Tudor printed on it.

The all-new Tudor Ranger

The biggest upgrade within the new Tudor Ranger catalog is the size: where the older version was only available in 39mm (which is too big and bulky), the newest addition measures 36mm (and is 1mm thinner compared to the 39mm Ranger). The lug narrowed down as well, from 20mm to 19mm. Of course, they’ve changed the in-house movement to the MT5400, which is also put in the BlackBay54 and 58. The looks are the same, but there are some new things to be discovered on the new Ranger-line. The dial changed, with the well-known matte black and beige numerals being still available, but now the Dune White, a slightly grained white dial, is now available on both the 36mm and 39mm Ranger. And it looks damn good. It's not the Polar Explorer, but it’s a huge step towards it. And we love it.

Pricing on the new Tudor Ranger’s

With this new release from Tudor, pricing ranges from €3.450 for the 36mm up to €3.560 for the 39mm version. If you don’t want the steel bracelet, you can save a bit of cash, with prices varying from €3.120 up to €3.230. Our advice: get yourself the 36mm Dune White on a steel bracelet, and change the strap afterwards (with some nice NATOS). And yes, the Tudor Ranger will be available on Wristler soon, with some serious discounts on the retailed prices. You’re welcome.
