Watches & Wonders 2026: Best Releases Beyond the Big Names

We already covered some other brands on the Watches & Wonders 2026 release, but there’s more to it. Over 60 brands have put their new catalog on display and there are some true gems to be found. Let’s put together a list of our favorite releases so far: the best of the rest!

Grand Seiko's new dress watches

We’re starting with the perfect dressy piece that just got released: the Grand Seiko Sakura Wakaba and the Grand Seiko Ice Forest at Dawn. And boy, these do not disappoint. Two stunners in yellow gold, measuring 37 and 38mm and are simply perfect. Can you name a better dresswatch? Don’t think so. Pricey though: €33.500 for the Sakura Wakaba and €44.700 for the Ice Forest at Dawn.

Patek Philippe Annual Calendar Moonphase

The 50 year Nautilus is pretty awesome, but our eye was drawn to this spectacular piece: the 5396R-016 by Patek Philippe. The Annual Calendar with Moon Phase. Wow. What a stunner this is. A sand beige dial, a rose gold case and the added Moon Phase complication makes this into a showstopper. Retailed price is at €63.600, but expect a premium on the grey market.

Vacheron Constantin in Platinum

The best possible color for sunny weather is pink. Period. And now, a pink/salmon Overseas got released with an ultra-thin 2.4mm thick 2550 caliber, including a micro-rotor, twin barrels and a single level gear train. The case? 950 platinum. A leather strap. And a perfectly balanced 39.5mm case. Rather have it on rubber? No problem. The only problem is that it’s limited to 255 pieces, strictly through Vacheron Constantin boutiques. Price tag: €119.000 if you’re lucky enough.

Limited Zenith Chronomaster

Another limited edition, namely 50 pieces ever will be produced of this mother of pearl Zenith Chronomaster Sport in two-tone. And it’s perfect. The sub-dials, the colorways with the warm rose gold and steel, this is an absolute getter if you like your chronograph to stand out. It will retail for €20.200 including a rubber strap. But again, limited to 50 pieces.

Final Thoughts

As every year, there are countless releases, but only a few truly get us excited. These are, in our view, some of the standout pieces that really made an impression. From refined elegance to serious watchmaking, this is where things get interesting. But now we’re curious: which one stands out as your absolute favorite?
