All about the Chopard Imperiale
The Imperiale collection from the Swiss manufacturer Chopard is ready to impress with their classic lines inspired by the insignia used by monarchs. The round cases and rod-shaped lugs resemble a Roman emperor’s standard that soldiers would carry into battle. That’s the reason why Chopard uses Roman numerals on the dials. There are three case sizes available for the Chopard Imperiale, starting with the 28, 36 or 40mm. They all feature a gemstone on the crown, with an ETA quartz movement or an in-house automatic movement.
When you want to get your hands on a Chopard Imperiale, be ready to spend at least €4.000 for the smallest 28mm case size Imperiale with the ETA Quartz movement and a date function. The medium 36mm case size with the Quartz ETA is around €12.500 while the automatic 40mm is a lot more expensive at €44.000. The most expensive watch in the Chopard Imperiale collection is the Imperiale 40 Rubies & Diamonds, costing well over €250.000.
