Description
Straight from France! A mesmerising Jaeger-LeCoultre intended for the French market, in a 18k yellow gold case made by E.D. Jaeger, featuring architectural hooded lugs. It almost goes without saying… This watch was made by ‘the watch maker’s, watch maker. Therefore, the freshly serviced movement inside is of superb quality and very well finished.
The previous owner sure had style, while the watch was strapped on a dark-purple Hermes strap. I’ve kept the Hèrmes buckle on the watch, to keep the elegant, Parisian DNA. The dial is of a subtle custard colour, matching with the colour of the patinated, unpolished case. The case back has 4 screws which hold it. Note that 1 screw has been damaged probably during service, and is significantly shorter than the other three.
Brought back to it’s maximum collectors condition: The preservation of the original, and making it fresh again have been balanced. Now available with extract from the archives.
