Description
Rolex are undoubtedly best known for the Oyster cases of their models – practically the entire product line of the brand is housed in this case. Almost all of these models, however, can rather be classified as sports watches. Rolex, of course, also have distinctly dress watches, and perhaps the most famous line is precisely Cellini – slim, restrained cases, classic design, in most cases hand-wound movements, leather straps – practically all models from this line carry exactly these characteristics. The model presented today is no exception.
Cellini, however, also has many distinctive features that make it different, interesting and desirable. The first distinguishing characteristic is the fact that the case is made of 950 platinum. The second is the design of the dial – thin markers, radial guilloché, slim sword-shaped hands, a “Glacier Blue” colour which, if it had been launched in the last decade, would certainly have received the name Tiffany – all of this emphasises the different design.
Of course, at the heart of the watch “beats” an in-house Rolex movement – in this case, the task is entrusted to Caliber 1240. Based on Caliber 1220, this hand-wound movement has 17 jewels, offers a power reserve of 42 hours and operates at 21,600 vibrations.

- Clearly visible signs of wear, including scratches, dents, or noticeable bracelet or clasp wear. Servicing may be recommended in the future. Fully functional unless otherwise stated.
