Today we have the pleasure of presenting to you a representative of one of the newest brands, one that offers diverse models and polarizes opinions – Romain Jerome. Since its founding less than 20 years ago, the brand has strived to offer striking models, some of which carry not only the innovation of their designers but also particles from the 'godfathers' of their models – such are Moon Dust, Titanic DNA, Eyjafjallajökull, and many others. Most have an unusual design, short limited editions, and a bold presence. The model presented today is part of a less striking line, namely Arraw Marine. Romain Jerome Arraw Marine Chronograph Ceramic 1M45C.CCCR.1517.RB The watch's case is borrowed from the RJ Titanic DNA and, in our opinion, is not only the brand's best case but also its most iconic. In this instance, it is slightly modernized with elements borrowed from other Romain Jerome models. The additional difference compared to most of the brand's models is, of course, the material from which the case is crafted – ceramic. As a result, it is practically scratch-proof, and the watch is guaranteed to maintain its fresh appearance for a long time. The four signature 'bumpers,' the curves of its 'marine' models, the maximized use of the dial space with all the subdials, the 'arrow'-shaped hands, the Arabic numerals for hour markers, and the date at 6 o'clock create a very characteristic and recognizable look. The strap is very soft and comfortable, yet at the same time very secure. It features an interesting quick-change system by pressing the buttons on the side of the lugs, and the buckle is a deployant clasp. At the heart of the watch beats the RJ Caliber RJ 2040 – an automatic chronograph, operating at 4 Hz, with a 42-hour power reserve and 57 jewels.
