De Rolex Datejust (Ref. 16234) is de perfecte keuze voor wie houdt van de klassieke Datejust-esthetiek, maar de voorkeur geeft aan de moderne, monochrome look van roestvrij staal en witgoud. Dit specifieke model uit 1990 is voorzien van een adembenemende zilveren wijzerplaat, die fungeert als het perfecte contrast voor de tien fonkelende, in witgoud gezette diamanten. De gekartelde (fluted) bezel, vervaardigd uit massief 18k witgoud, vangt het licht bij elke beweging en geeft het horloge een onmiskenbare prestige. Technisch gezien markeert de 16234 een belangrijk tijdperk voor Rolex. Dit model is uitgerust met krasbestendig saffierglas en het befaamde Kaliber 3135.
