Description
De Rolex Datejust (Ref. 16233) is een tijdloos icoon, maar deze specifieke uitvoering met een zwarte diamant-wijzerplaat tilt de klassieke "Two-Tone" stijl naar een hoger niveau. De diepzwarte sunray-wijzerplaat vormt het perfecte canvas voor de tien schitterende, in goud gezette diamanten die de uren markeren. In combinatie met de gekartelde (fluted) bezel van 18k geelgoud ontstaat een lichtspel dat zowel overdag als 's avonds indruk maakt. Dit horloge stamt uit 1990, een belangrijk overgangsjaar waarin Rolex de robuustheid van moderne materialen combineerde met vintage elegantie. De 16233 was een van de eerste Datejusts die werd uitgerust met krasbestendig saffierglas, wat dit exemplaar uitermate geschikt maakt voor dagelijks gebruik. Onder de motorkap tikt het befaamde Kaliber 3135, een chronometer-gecertificeerd automatisch uurwerk dat bekend staat als een van de meest betrouwbare motoren die Rolex ooit heeft geproduceerd.
