For many people, the most iconic Panerai watch series are the Luminor and Luminor 1950. Of the brand's four main collections – Radiomir, Radiomir 1940, Luminor, and Luminor 1950 – the latter two bear the brand's characteristic massive look with the emblematic protector covering the crown. Regardless of the variety in the models from the Luminor series, they are all distinguished by a minimalist and clean design, which has brought the brand widespread popularity over the years. What distinguishes the model we are presenting today is the combination of all the interesting elements present on the dial.

Undoubtedly, for all Panerai admirers, it is the Luminor case that first comes to mind at the mention of the brand. The timepiece presented today is one of the brand's relatively rare models, with its main distinguishing feature being the presence of a power reserve indicator for the movement on the dial. This particular example is from a newer series – produced in 2019, which is another of its advantages.

Among collectors and enthusiasts, Panerai is known for the fact that most of their watches look good with a wide variety of straps and bracelets. Not all models can boast such versatility. This Panerai is suitable for both a rubber strap and a black crocodile strap (with which it is offered), as well as for a metal bracelet. The possibilities for personalization are almost endless – from classic black tones to bright color solutions. Changing straps and bracelets is done easily with the help of simple screwdrivers.

The sheer elegance of the Luminor Power Reserve PAM01090 dial is hard to dispute. The main display shows the time, while an additional sub-dial at "9 o'clock" measures the seconds. The date indicator is positioned at "3 o'clock" and is covered with a "cyclops" type magnifying lens, while the power reserve indicator is located at "5 o'clock". Traditionally, Luminor models use large numerals "12", "3", "6", and "9", but here the presence of the sub-dial and date makes it impossible to place the "3" and "9", which becomes another distinctive feature of this model.

The luminescence is of a high level – the indices and hands are coated with Super-LumiNova, which provides excellent contrast and legibility even in complete darkness.

Above the dial is a thick 3.5 mm slightly curved sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating. The case is water-resistant to 300 m – fully in the spirit of a serious diver's watch. As befits a Panerai, the model features the protected crown with its characteristic bridge, which is comfortable and easy to use.

At the heart of the watch operates the automatic movement Calibre OP XXXII, which is actually a modified version (downgrade) of the well-known Valjoux 7750. The movement includes 25 jewels, 187 components, a Glucydur® balance, a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, an Incabloc® anti-shock system, and about 50 hours of power reserve. The decoration includes Geneva waves, blued screws, and an engraved logo on the rotor.
