This juxtaposition of materials established the foundation of what would later define Hublot’s global identity. The 36 mm case offers restrained proportions and refined wrist presence, reflecting the understated elegance of the period. Its minimalist dial enhances legibility and balance, while the signature porthole-inspired bezel, secured by exposed screws, provides the architectural character that became synonymous with the brand.
