The Chopard Mille Miglia watch series is designed in the spirit of motor racing, and this is evident in every element of this timepiece's design. The trademark of the iconic “1000 Miglia” race, which gave its name to this series, is proudly positioned on the watch's dial (as well as in the form of an engraving on its crown), the dial itself is finished in the same way as the dashboards of vintage racing cars were (which are the main participants in this race to this day), and along the outer edge is the tachymeter scale, which not only reinforces the racing spirit of the watch but also allows for speed calculations, the strap features the tread pattern of a car tire.
The case of this watch is a classic 40 mm in size, making it extremely comfortable to wear, the height is only 11.5 mm, and the fact that the case is crafted from 18-carat yellow gold makes it very attractive. Arabic numerals for hour markers, gold hands with SuperLuminova inserts, a transparent case back – all of this indicates the watch's thoroughbred pedigree and makes it very noticeable.
The movement used by the manufacturer in this watch is the ETA 2894-2, which has proven itself with its high quality and excellent performance characteristics, and the fact that the case back is transparent provides an opportunity to enjoy the operation and the superb finish of the movement.
