It is not by chance that today, for the first time, we will have the pleasure of presenting to you a representative of its distinctly classic FiftySix dress line, and today's model is very special, as it is the Complete Calendar introduced in 2019 in the version with a blue dial and steel case - balanced, classically executed, and attractive.
In modern watchmaking, it is customary for models that offer a triple calendar (day, date, month) and moon phase indications to be classified under the Complete Calendar category – and Vacheron Constantin has a very rich history with such timepieces. In today's model, the manufacturer shows that it follows classic lines and offers a reference to its dress watches from the mid-20th century.
Certainly, in this model, the manufacturer has managed to gather all its centuries-old experience, and this is evident from the entire look of the watch – classic clean lines, a strict use of two colors, thin and elongated indices, elegant hands, and the crown with the Maltese cross - all of this leaves no doubt as to exactly what kind of watch you are wearing on your wrist.
At the heart of the watch, under the factory index Caliber 2460 QCL/1, "beats" a movement that can boldly be called a work of horological art – with a remarkable height of just 5.4 mm, 308 parts, 27 jewels, and a 40-hour power reserve, having successfully passed the highest standard of quality in the art of watchmaking, the Hallmark Of Geneva. The transparent case back gives us the opportunity to enjoy the finishing of the movement, and the skeletonized gold rotor with the Maltese cross only reinforces the overall impression.
