Description
De Rolex Submariner 5513 behoeft weinig introductie bij Rolex kenners. Het is één van de meest gewilde referenties onder vintage verzamelaars.
De 5513 heeft door zijn wijzerplaten en vooral door het plexiglas een vintage uitstraling. Door het ontbreken van een datumfunctie en, in tegenstelling tot zijn broertje, de 5512, het hebben van slechts twee lijnen tekst onderaan de wijzerplaat zorgt dit voor een simplistische en rustige wijzerplaat welke perfect in balans is.
Deze uitvoering heeft een originele serif matte dial en komt uit 1973. De bezel insert is door RSC vervangen door een service insert.
Daarnaast is de duikers extensie van de band voorzien van een interessant detail. In de duikersextensie hoort PATENTED te staan. Er is in de productie hiervan een fout gemaakt waardoor de N is weggelaten. Resulterend in in het woord 'PATETED'. Een fout met een groot verschil. Horloges voorzien van deze band zijn erg gewild onder menig liefhebber.
De plots op de wijzerplaat zijn verkleurt naar een zeer warme tint, corresponderend met de wijzers.

- Clearly visible signs of wear, including scratches, dents, or noticeable bracelet or clasp wear. Servicing may be recommended in the future. Fully functional unless otherwise stated.
