This Omega Speedmaster “First Omega in Space” (FOIS) pays tribute to a pivotal moment in space travel history. Inspired by the Speedmaster worn by astronaut Wally Schirra during the Mercury-Atlas 8 mission in 1962, the model combines classic design elements with modern Omega technology. Reference 310.32.40.50.06.002 features straight lugs and a symmetrical case, in keeping with the original FOIS design. The dial is refined and retains the character of the historic model. The watch is powered by an Omega Master Chronometer movement, which meets the highest standards of precision, reliability, and anti-magnetism. This example was delivered in June 2025 and has only been worn a few times. It is in near-mint condition and is offered as a complete full set, including the original box, cards, hangtag, and papers. The watch is covered by Omega's remaining factory warranty of approximately 4.5 years. The current new price is € 8,300.
