Description
This Rolex Submariner reference 1680 dates back to 1975. It is powered by the automatic caliber 1570, which was serviced and is running great. The watch is in good condition. It has a matte black mark 5 dial with beautifully aged original tritium. The tritium is eggshell colored under cool light but once the sun hits the dial it turns a beautiful warm color. The real eye-catcher of the dial is ofcourse the "submariner" text which is written in red. The dial and hands match nicely in patina. The case of the watch has been polished before. The bezel insert is clean, with some very minor marks from wearing it over the last 50 years. The watch has the original bracelet fitted. Between the lugs both the reference number and serial number are clearly readable. The watch is finished off with a clean and crisp plexiglass. It is delivered with the original box and papers.
