The Rolex Submariner Date with reference 1680 from 1979 comes with its original box and a authenticity certificate. The Submariner 1680 holds a special place in Rolex history as the first Submariner model to feature a date function, making it a highly sought-after vintage classic.
The 40 mm Oystersteel case is fitted with a unidirectional rotating aluminium bezel, a Triplock screw-down crown, and mounted on the classic Oyster bracelet. Its black dial with tritium hour markers and plexiglass crystal with the Cyclops date magnifier add to its distinctive vintage character.
The watch is in good condition for its age, showing light signs of careful wear, and has been fully checked for performance and authenticity.
Powered by the automatic Rolex caliber 1575, the Submariner offers a 48-hour power reserve and features the date function under the Cyclops lens.
The watch comes with 24 months international warranty.
