Als erste Taucheruhr von Montblanc verfügt die Montblanc Iced Sea Automatic Date über ein Zifferblatt mit Gletschermotiv, das den Eindruck erweckt, als blicke man in die Tiefen solcher Eismassen. Das schwarze Gletschermuster ist vom Mer de Glace inspiriert, dem Hauptgletscher des Mont-Blanc-Massivs. Seine Textur wurde mithilfe einer nahezu in Vergessenheit geratenen Technik erhalten, dem „gratté-boisé“. Die Uhr besitzt ein 41-mm-Gehäuse aus Edelstahl. Sie verfügt über eine einseitig drehbare, zweifarbige Keramiklünette, einen gravierten Gehäuseboden und ein schmal verlaufendes, austauschbares Edelstahlarmband mit Feineinstellung für einen präzisen Sitz. Die Uhr erfüllt die Anforderungen der ISO 6425 Norm für Taucheruhren und ist wasserdicht bis 300 Meter.
